Sucess in Numbers

This is an interesting video of nature, yet it is also a study in hope and tenacity. We have all seen nature on television and understand the hierarchy of animals and consider the Lion to be on the top of the food chain. Lions are cunning by nature and dominate their prey, this video shows an interesting outcome of what seems to be a sure trap and sudden death.

This was pretty hard to watch, Paul. And I'm not sure what to make of it - lions gotta eat; crocs gotta eat.

All animals, including we human beings, are hungry and gotta eat. That means someone's seed is going to end up in our stomach. Only humans don't get to be eaten (usually), so long as we stay together. On our own, however, it's a different story...

Hi Barry,

Yes I understand the cycle of life, but I posted this because of the communication that exists within the buffalo community. Somehow a few of the buffalo went back to the herd and got them to come and save the baby buffalo. It is a level of communication that I was unaware existed in a species such as this.

We share a great deal more with our animal neighbors than we think.

Yes, I agree that we share a lot with our animal neighbours. Sometimes a lion, sometimes a pussycat but most important, I think, is to realize that we can be lions and we can be pussycat (dolls) and we have a way to get rid of our deluded thoughts and actions.

Important post, thank you, Dharmabro!
