Sam Harris and Deepak Chopra: Consciousness and the Brain

I would like to say that this is the beginning of a very interesting discussion on what constitutes 'I'. There are no winners or losers in this discussion, yet truth pervades both arguements and we must be open to that which transcends all. I will write more on this soon. Wonderful!

Deepok appears so cocky and dismissive and as I was taking that note he ironically calls Harris "Dismissive. Dismissive of Art, Music, Poetry..."
He was not even listening to Harris.

Deepok wants a monism and his idealism creates matter and he wants all that is good connected to that.
YUCK!

I am sorry, it was hard to hear any amazing truth in what Deepak said.

I don't think that "Look, we all have truth, no need to take sides. Why can't we all just love each other." Well, sure, loving each other is cool but accepting each others nonsense as if we all meant the same thing -- nope.
