Korean Christians pray for Buddhist temples to collapse

Occasionally I find things that are disturbing on the internet and wish to share them with others and this is one of those times. The outward destructive nature of this video is not teaching the peace and compassion of the Jesus I know from the new testament, but as the Christians often say, God gave everyone free will. (That is another discussion entirely.) If you are interested then watch the video and come to your own conclusions, I wouldn't want to follow a path that leads to the destruction of anything. May all beings attain their true self and save this world from suffering.

Yikes. Thanks for sharing. As unpleasant as it is, this is actually important to know about.

Unfortunately, it is not "nothing to worry about." Arson attacks by Christians on Buddhist Temples in Korea are a a common occurrence.

For hatred is not overcome by hatred, hatred is overcome by love. This is an eternal rule."

Hi,

Luckily, for every example of these nutty Korean Christians, you can find many more examples of Korean Christians working together with Korean Buddhists for peace and the well-being of Korean society.

What we need are more blog posts on the good work that is being done.

One small example:

With palms together,

Could it possibly be a mistranslation? Could "let the Buddhist temples to collapse" really mean something more like "lead the people away from the Buddhist temples and to our church" as opposed to literally asking God to collapse the roofs of the temples down?
